EVENT RSVP DEADLINE             Midnight THURSDAY, September 7

Spend the day at Swartswood Lake State Park, with hiking, boating, arts and crafts, relaxing and dinner, then end the day with a bonfire!

Swartswood Lake:  75 minutes from Manhattan - one of the prettiest lakes in the NY area and the 3rd largest lake in NJ.

Hikes:          Longer for adults - 3 to 4  hrs, 4 to 6 miles

Shorter for everyone - 1+ hr , 1.5 to 2 miles    this can be                                          combined with the boating

Boating:      Kayaking and Canoeing for 1.5 hr shifts, on a 500 acre glacial                      lake - this can be combined with the short hike and the arts and crafts                      option. For canoeing, children must be at least 6 years old, for kayaking                      they must be at least 12 to have their own kayak. Limited number of     boats available, there is also potentially a double kayak option available.        Let us know your interest on the form.

Relax:   Sit at a lovely beach or under the shade on our portable air couches as you take in the last breaths of summer - no swimming, as lifeguards are not on duty after Labor Day.

Arts and Crafts Option: Painting Projects like Faux Stained Glass and Mitzvah Flags with nature elements for the holidays - for adults and children, $10 per person. You can combine this with any option except the longer hike.

Dinner: A new cuisine for our events, a kosher Chinese  buffet dinner with a variety of choices for meat eaters and vegetarians, from Tokyo Hibatchi, under the Vaad Harabonim of MetroWest, located in Springfield NJ.
